I had an incident where my steering components failed enough to cause fear of death. In that moment I apparently clenched my jaw so hard that I cracked my back molar. I'm from Florida, I'm on tour, I am heading to Colorado Springs for a show Thursday October 12th 2023. I talked this over with the staff. A tooth extraction was discussed, among other options. The doctor who saw me was just flat amazing. He understood my concerns, he asked me what I wanted to try and accomplish. When I explained that I have to drive tonight but in a few days or so have 4 days in Grand Rapids. He said in the time constraints I was working under, unless I just wanted to lose the tooth, some pain meds, and antibiotics would be a short-term solution. This is a first where, much like myself, not really thrilled about tooth extraction, and the doctor said he personally feels that should be a last resort.I can't begin to express my gratitude towards the entire staff there. They had a full schedule going on and still worked me in, and made me feel like they actually still care about what they do. The level of concern I heard in the receptionist voice when I called, the we got you attitude, really made me completely comfortable.To any one there that might read this, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys were just phenomenal! And to the doctor that saw me, thank you for not just pulling the tooth.
